Who we are

This website belongs to Global Education, an international education consultancy with an office at Av. Marginal No. 4115, Maputo, Mozambique. Global Education is responsible for the personal data processed through this website and as part of its services.

What we collect

We only collect the data we need to reply to you and provide our services:

• Website forms: name, email, WhatsApp number, destination of interest, field of study, intended intake and your message.
• Direct contact: the information you share with us by WhatsApp, phone, email or in person.
• Application process: when you go ahead with an application, the documents it requires, such as academic certificates, passport, birth certificate, vaccination certificate, and documents from the parent or guardian who signs the sponsorship letter, including their identity card and bank statement.

How we use it

• To reply to your requests and book your consultation.
• To advise on courses, universities, scholarships and destinations.
• To prepare and submit applications and follow up on offers of admission.
• To support visa applications, accommodation and travel preparation.
• To follow up with the student after arrival and communicate with parents or guardians.

We use your data with your consent and only as far as needed to provide the services you ask for. We do not sell personal data or use it for third-party advertising.

Who we share it with

We only share data when your process requires it:

• The universities and institutions you apply to.
• Immigration authorities and services, for visa applications.
• Accommodation and travel services, when you ask for our help with those stages.
• Technical providers who help us run the website and email, such as Spectro Web Solutions, which builds, hosts and maintains this website. These providers only process data for that purpose.

International transfers

Studying abroad means sending data outside Mozambique, for example to universities and authorities in the destination country. This website's server is located in Germany, in the European Union. In every case, we share only what is necessary.

Retention

We keep data for as long as needed for the purposes above and to meet legal obligations. You can ask us to delete your data at any time, unless we are required by law to keep it.

Your rights

You can ask at any time to access, correct or delete your data, and withdraw the consent you gave us. To do so, write to info@globaleducation.co.mz. We reply as soon as possible.

Cookies and external services

This website does not use advertising cookies. Some external services only switch on when you choose to use them:

• Google Maps: the map on the contact page only loads when you click "Show the map". From then on, Google's privacy policy applies.
• WhatsApp and Instagram: the buttons and links take you to these services, which have their own privacy policies.

Minors

If you are under 18, we ask that a parent or guardian takes part in your contact with us. Several documents in the process are signed by the parent or guardian.

Security

The website uses a secure connection (HTTPS), is updated regularly and is backed up. Students' documents are handled confidentially and shared only with those who need them for the process.

We may update this policy when our services or the website change. The date of the last update is shown at the top of this page.
